Waooh! Look at this scriptural passage “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:16). Hmmmmm! That is really cool. The reason is that it raises the questions as to what we think about ourselves, our situations, our conditions, our future, our standing in the world, and our aspirations. This passage says we are joint heirs with Christ and that raises the question: How does God regard His Son, Jesus? How much does He love Him? What can he not do for Him? How much care does He have for Him? You see, how we answer these questions is exactly how God relates to us. The truth of the matter is that, in our human experience, a good and loving father gives the best to his children and more so to his heir. If this is our human experience, how much more would the divine reality be? Scripture says that you are an heir to God. My friend, please let this truth of God permeate your whole being and every cell, every atom, every matter, every thought, every action, and every moment of your life. The more we give attention to these Words of the Lord, the more we believe it, and the more we believe it, the more it becomes part of who we are, and the more it becomes part of who we are, the more it becomes our lived experience. Scripture says: “My child, incline your ear to my sayings… Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22). When life experiences challenge this fundamental truth, don’t be swayed because God works out everything for good for those who love Him. If you love God, stay with Him. May the good Lord bring His promises to pass in your life, Amen!
